Refuge Coffee

We worked with Refuge Coffee to reboot and take their ecommerce model to the next level with a subscription model. Coffee subscriptions are highly customizable for online shoppers, fitting a range of tastes and budgets. We also worked to communicate the unique brand position of Refuge, which is a small hand-crafted coffee roaster based in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The owner operated business is highly driven and inspired by outdoor adventure and takes the same exploratory approach to discovering new coffee flavors.

We also worked closely with Refuge to build an effective ecommerce site focused on conversion with strong calls to action using a variety of methods, including footer banners, timed pop ups, newsletter signup forms, and ideas for promotions and other special discount offers. The subscription model offers a chance for sustained revenue and the opportunity to offer incentives for members and even a referral program down the road.
