Dan began his career as a program manager for non-profit organizations, specializing in program design, implementation, and grant writing. Seeing a big need for better graphic design and websites, Dan began designing websites professionally in 2008. After working for other design firms, Dan started Hatchback Creative in 2012 to combine his marketing experience with his technical skills in graphic design and web development. Since then, Dan has built dozens of brands, and worked on over 200 websites with a specialty in developing custom WordPress sites that are high functioning, look great, perform well on mobile devices, and are easy to manage.

Dan is also a business coach for the Sierra Small Business Development Center, a federally-funded program coordinated by Sierra Business Council and received 40 Under 40 acknowledgement from the Tahoe Chamber.

After working in the Hotel Management field for 7 years Chris went back to school in 2011 to pursue an interest in web development. He attended Cerro Coso Community College where he took every applicable class that focused on digital media, web design, and networking. Receiving an Associate of Science in Web Design as well as Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media Skills, Chris began his career as a web developer with Perfect Balance Designs and later moved on to freelance web development. Specializing in custom web development, SEO and responsive web design, Chris has worked with a variety of designers and business professionals to create websites that fit their specific needs.
